Meaning:
About the pump see Steimbke Municipality. The dolmen is a natural monument, located at the Northern edge of Steimbker Fuhren.

Meaning:
The buffalo horns are taken from the arms of the Counts of Wölpe. Antlers and oak leaf are symbolising local groves and hunting.

Shield Argent an arch Argent masoned Sable, in centre a Gothic window Sable, charged with an owl statant caboshed Or.
Meaning:
Rodewald was established in 1969, when the former independent municipalities of Rodewald untere Bauerschaft, Rodewald mittlere Bauerschaft, Rodewald obere Bauerschaft (meaning: lower, central and upper hamlet) merged. The stone sculpture of the owl is in the porticus of the St.Giles (German: Ägidius) Church in Rodewald mittlere Bauerschaft	.

Shield parted per fess; above Or an oil feed pump Sable; beneath Gules a horseshoe Argent, flanked by two beech leaves Or.
Meaning:
The pump is alluding to Brigitta co-operative petroleum production, which was established in 1934 and enhanced the local facilities and also founded a new settlement for its employees. The oil feed pump is still kept as a local monument. Horseshoe and leaves are symbolising the still rural character.

Meaning:
Please note that blazon calls the yellow part an embowed pile (reversed). The dolmen is a local natural monument. Plough and antler are symbolising agriculture and forestry.
