Note that this Beaufort is a city in Carteret County NC, not be confused with either Beaufort, South Carolina or Beaufort County, North Carolina.

The seal appearing in the flag pictures listed above has some elements different from the city seal, like the arrangement of the circles and fleur-de-lis, and the color of the letters. I followed the image in the flag picture.
