Jefferson County's new flag can be seen at Google Maps. It is white with the
county's logo centered on it. According to the Denver Post, Jefferson County's
logo was approved in July 2016. However, it wasn't until May 2017 that the
change started to take place. That year, the flag at the county courthouse was
changed. The logo depicts a mountain peak against a bright blue sky, with a
green hilly landscape in front of it. The design of the grid below is based on
an aerial view of Jefferson County roads, showing the contrast between the city
and nature. The process of redesigning the logo was primarily led by the public
engagement team with feedback from other departments.

The previous flag of Jefferson County can be seen at Complete Colorado. It is
white with a green border. Centered on it is the logo of Jefferson County
adopted in 1998. The logo depicts a contour of Jefferson County, with mountains
and a star on it. Beside it are the words "FOUNDED 1861". Green is a symbol of
nature, probably the reason it is the main color of the logo.
