The logo includes the flag I’m sending superimposed over a big
"M".
Jorge Candeias, 8 Jan 1998
I passed the former company headquartes the other day (Rosemary Street,
Lisbon) and made a photo of a large bronze
plaque they have by the main entrance, with the logo in bas-relief.
The cross seems distinctly patty, not
swiss-like (and certainly not plus-like).
António Martins-Tuválkin, 23 Dec 2005
The original source (a newspaper supplement), back in 1998, was printed
in colour, but in such a manner that colours turned up blurred and small
details were usually lost. Initially I was under the impression that the cross
was straight, and redrew the flagoid
accordingly but when I began seing, later on, in the same source, crosses
that looked patty, I made a note about it and decided to wait for a solution
for the dilemma. Meanwhile, that logo disappeared from the supplement.
The cross seems to be really patty, although I’m still not certain
that it shouldn’t be a depiction of the cross of
the order of Christ instead. It’s hard to be certain, even with
the photo.
