It is a typical Portuguese communal flag, with the coat of arms centred on a plain white field.

Shield Purple a grape bunch Or leaved and tendrilled Argent and two olive branches Or fruited Sable with its lower ends crossed per fess and a belfry Argent topped by a cross Argent, masoned Sable with bell Or, all well ordered (2:1), in base wavy Argent a barrulet wavy Azure. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll reading in black upper case letters "PEREDO DA BEMPOSTA".
Meaning:
The word "bemposta" means "well settled" and is a very common toponym; in this case refers to a nearby town, seat of a former municipality (1315~1820) this commune was part of. The word "peredo" might mean "pear grove", but I could not find any support for this.

Peredo da Bemposta Commune is one of the 21 communes of Mogadouro Municipality; it had 188 inhabitants in 2011 and covers 18.1 km².
