It is a typical Portuguese communal flag, with the coat of arms centred on a plain yellow field.

Shield Gules with base wavy of Argent and Azure, in fess an oven Argent masoned Sable with port of the same and a drum Or with drumsticks Sable, on chief an inescutcheon Argent parted by a cross Gules, abased an embattled 2-level tower Argent with port and windows Gules. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll reading in black upper case serifed letters "UNIÃO DAS FREGUESIAS DE CAMPANHÓ E PARADANÇA". 
Meaning:
The base wavy is a representation of the Tâmega River and the Olo River, one of its confluences. The drum is taken from the arms of former Paradança Commune. The shield is an attribute of St. George, patron saint of Paradança. The tower is an attribute of St. Barbara, patron saint of former Campanhó Commune.

Campanhó e Paradança is one of the two communes of Mondim de Basto Municipality created by a merger during the 2013 changes. It had 600 inhabitants in 2021 and covers 30,03 km².
