Shield Or a push cart Azure, flanked on chief ba a scallop Gules and on base by a cherry twig Vert fruited by three cherries Gules. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll reading in black upper case serifed letters "FAIA - CABECEIRAS de BASTO".
Meaning:
The scallop is an attribute of St. James the Elder, the local patron saint.
