Shield Or, scales Vert, in chief cogwheel Gules, and on base wavy Azure a barrulet wavy Argent. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll reading in black upper case letters "FERREIROS - BRAGA".
Meaning:
"Ferreiros" means "blacksmiths" and this meaning may or may not be hinted at by the cogwheel on the arms.

Ferreiros Commune was one of the pre-2013 communes of Braga Municipality; it had 7707 inhabitants in 2011 and covered 2.6 km². The territory of this former commune lies within the Braga urban polygon.
