Introduction of Landesruderverband Sachsen

Located in: Dresden
Established: 1990
Landesruderverband Sachsen is the umbrella organisation of Saxonian rowing clubs. Currently it has 16 as memebers 16 rowing clubs having altogether 2300 rowers.

Flag

It is a white-green horizontal bicolour, which is the civil flag of Saxony but with an additional centred logo.

It is a either white-green vertical bicolour (see left image above) or a green-white vertical bicolour (see right image above), both with centred logo.

Logo

The logo is placed onto a Spanish shield parted off-centred per bend. At dexter green with a stylised green "Rautenkranz" and a white inscription "LRVS" alongside a white bendlet. At sinister white with four decreasing blades parted per fess of black and yellow, the colours of the "Askanian kin".
