Shield Gules a pale Argent, charged with a left hand Gules issuant from dexter and holding a baton of oath Gules in pale.
Meaning:
Around 1930 the rams of the village had been a monster, displaying a white fess in a red shield, the fess charged with four red annulets flanked by green palm fronds, the crest displayed a silver arms holding a branch of oleaster, all surrounded by a chain of 12 annulets hooked on the shield. The only element to be proven was the white fess from the arms of Austria. In 1955 a court seal of the local reeves with a print from 1773 was revived and given the Austrian tinctures as new arms.
