Shield parted per fess of Argent and Gules, over all a he-goat forcene Sable, armed Or and tongued Gules.
Meaning:
The settlement was first mentioned in 1007 as "Jutribok" as a fortified village. It gained city rights in1147 and was centre of an exclave of the Archbishopric of Magdeburg, to which the shield colours are alluding. The he-goat (German: Bock) might be a punning element.
