Shield parted per fess, above Gules a pale Argent, beneath Azure, a sinister facing fox couchant Argent.
Meaning:
The upper half displays the family arms of the Barons of Taufkirchen-Guttenburg, whose ancestral seat had been Taufkirchen. They played an important role as local rulers and judges until the 19th century. As a distinguishing mark the fox from the crest of their family arms was added to the municipal arms.
