Shield Argent, a pall wavy Azure.
Meaning:
First mentioned in 1374 the village was ruled by a reeve of St.Blasien Monastery, before it became a municipality in 1809. The arms are symbolising the confluence of Wiese, a small local river with Böllenbach, a local creek.
