Shield Gules, parted by a bend sinister wavy Argent, in dexter chief a cross Moline Or, in sinister base 6-spokes wheel Or.
Meaning:
The bend sinister wavy is representing Berka, the name giving creek crossing the municipality. The cross Moline here is considered to be a Franconian cross, alluding to the villages Frankershausen and Frankenhain. The wheel is alluding to the many waggoners, which worked here in the past.
