Chardonne

Argent, from a triple Hill Vert growing three thistles proper, on outer two two finches affrontant proper.

The birds on the flag of Chardonne are goldfinches (in French chardonneret), and the flowers are thistles (in French chardon). A good way to illustrate the commune's name.
