The village emblem was adopted on Sep 30th 1956 but there is no flag law. The
green flag has a white village emblem in the center. The village emblem is a
stylized katakana アチ Achi.

The flag of the former village of Namiai was maroon with mark. The village is
now, from 2006, part of the village of Achi.

The katakana character ナミアイ “Nami-ai” has been stylized into a design, with the left arc representing ナ“Na,” the lower triangle representing ミ“Mi,” the right arc representing ア“A,” and the upper center representing イ“I.”

The characterセ “Se” in katakana is stylized into a circular design resembling a bird, symbolizing harmony and development in the village.
