It is a blue over orange horizontal bicolour. In its centre is a B/W version of the local coat of arms with a mural crown. The coat of arms shows St.Martin and the beggar. The shield is flanked by black inscriptions äRä and äVä (blue stripe) and äBADä and äEMSä (orange stripe).

Description of flag:
It is a 9-stripes flag with horizontal alternating black and yellow stripes starting with a black one. It has a white canton with a black eagle in its centre and black letters and numbers "R" (upper hoist), "V" (upper fly), "W" (lower hoist) and 1923 (lower hoist). The eagle should have a key in his beak. Yellow and black probably are the colours of Holy Roman Empire. Bad Wimpfen once had been a free city.
