It is a 9-stripes flag with horizontal alternating black and yellow stripes starting with a black one. It has a white canton with a black eagle in its centre and black letters and numbers "R" (upper
hoist), "V" (upper fly), "W" (lower hoist) and 1923 (lower hoist). The eagle should have a key in his beak. Yellow and black probably are the colours of Holy Roman Empire. Bad Wimpfen once had been a free city.
