Staříč flag

Staříč has 1983 inhabitants (1 Jan 2000). The village ranks among the oldest villages in the region. The first trace dated back to 1258.
Jarig Bakker, 28 Nov 2001

A 2:3 horizontally divided flag with its upper half in red and white separated by a zigzag line that creates four white isosceles triangles with their bases taking up the midline of the flag and their opposite vertices touching its top edge, and the lower half vertically divided in green and black, the latter at the fly.

This flag is apparently inspired by the coat of arms — per fess Sable and Vert a rose Or overall and chief Gules and Argent dancetty of four.
