Description of the flag

The flag of the former Mareeba Shire Council, Queensland [now part of Tablelands Regional Council] was divided vertically 2:3 green and white. On the green, the Crux Australis in yellow, on the yellow, the council seal.

Mareeba Shire Council was amalgamated into the Tablelands Regional Council on 15 March 2008. It was later de-amalgamated on 1 January 2014 as Mareeba Shire Council.
