On 1 January 2021 the new commune of Muntogna da Schons was formed through the merger of Casti-Wergenstein, Donat, Lohn and Mathon (see below).

Donat (until 31 December 2020)

Per pale Or in saltire a sword Argent hilted Gules and a torch Sable inflamed Proper Argent a griffin rampant Gules.

The commune of Donat is born after the merger of former communes of Donath and Patzen-Fardün (The names were changed then to the Romansh spelling Donat, Pazen and Farden).
The new flag takes over the elements of the former flags: the torch and sword from Patzen-Fardün and the griffin from Donath, the latter having lost his sword certainly because this weapon was already on the flag of Patzen-Fardün.
