The city has adopted a new flag

"The city’s new additions, which were revealed, included a city flag, public artwork, a parking garage, and the location of city hall.

The red on the flag represents Cocoa Beach’s beautiful sunsets and nods to the city’s location in the Sunshine State. The white represents the space program that our Space Coast thrives on.

Blue represents the beaches and waterways enjoyed by all. The flag’s dolphin symbol pays tribute to the marine ecosystem that the area is dependent on and protective of.

The dolphin’s left-to-right jump represents Cocoa Beach’s move toward a bright future, and the nontraditional movement reflects the city’s young age and mindset."
