Telford flag represents the iconic Ironbridge, a sun/cog as a nod to the
Borough’s industrial heritage and the colour green to represent the many
wonderful green and opens spaces available.

I'm guessing the pyramid-like shape in gold in the centre is also a nod to
The Wrekin itself, an isolated prominent hill which gives the district (part of)
its name.
