The pennant is red with with inscription "DKF" and a white 5-point star in canton. The union was established on 30 May 1903, promoted by Chr. Schrøder, the owner of the local summer hotel. The union declined in the 1960s, when local fishers and other members stayed away and the hotel was closed. The club was reestablished on 22 June 2007 due to the many guests enjoying summer holidays and an increasing number of local yachtsmen, not only for sailing but also for harbour life and social activities together with "Foreningen Dyreborg Havn". Dyreborg is located on the southwestern shores of Funen Island.
