Shield Azure a bladed wheel Argent and seven spurs Or on orle. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers(village rank) and white scroll reading in black upper case serifed letters "VILARES DE VILARIÇA"
Meaning:
The wheel is an attribute of St. Catherine, the local patron saint.

Vilares de Vilariça was one of the six communes of Alfândega da Fé Municipality not affected by the 2013 changes; it had 132 inhabitants in 2021 and covers 14.92 km².
